Lou spends every Saturday with Grandad and Pops. They walk to the library hand in  hand. Grandad reads about science and design, Pops listens to rock and roll. Lou bounces from lap to lap, learning from both.

But one Saturday Pops falls. He will never walk again. He withdraws to a dark silent bedroom. Lou decides to make a plan. With help from neighbors, imagination and building know-how, more than a wheelchair is needed to bring Pops to life.
